Located just a few miles from beautiful Lake Robinson in Northern Greenville County, Lighthouse Baptist Church was originally organized in the 1960s under the name of Mountain View Baptist Church. Located at 6301 Mountain View Road in Taylors, SC, the Church was originally part of the Southern Baptist Convention when first organized. It withdrew from the Convention in 1997, and was re-named as Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Since then, it has remained a beacon of light in the northern part of Greenville County, SC. It is the desire of the present Church membership to honor and obey our Lord in all we do, and to obey the Scriptures.
On 9/13/2026, our Church voted 100% to call Bro. Ryan Gray to be our next Pastor! Pastor Gray and his wife, Joanna, have 4 wonderful children, with a 5th child due to be born in early March! PRAISE GOD!!
We are very mission-minded, currently supporting 15 missionaries at home and abroad. We are small in number, but have a big heart towards others and toward our Lord Jesus Christ. One of our prayerful goals is to grow in membership, as we rely on the Lord to bring in visitors and potential new members as He sees fit. We are Independent, Dispensational, Pre-Trib, Pre-millennial, KJV and traditional in both our worship and our music. We welcome anyone with a heart for the Lord to come visit us at any of our services as listed under the Service times. When you do visit us, we hope you will feel welcomed and loved!
